The art of imperfection
At Sparrow Frances, we don’t believe in erasing nature’s signature. The small knots and unique grain variations you’ll find in our solid wood furniture and cabinetry aren't flaws, they’re the fingerprints of the tree.
While mass-produced furniture relies on plastics, veneers, and heavy stains to achieve a "perfect" look, we choose to celebrate the real thing. Leaving these natural imperfections intact is a commitment to authenticity and sustainable craftsmanship. Every mark tells a story of the wood’s previous life, ensuring that the piece you bring into your home is entirely unique, full of character, and beautifully, undeniably real.
The Phoenix Game Table
“The table that Nate built is so pretty and well made, from reclaimed Oregon white oak and we were able to customize the dimensions to make sure it was narrow enough for the space (30″) and with a trestle table to avoid legs in the corners that would block flow. He is now selling this table and you can customize it as well. He’s a lovely, talented Portland maker”
